Most of this you would only find by asking. It is easier to publish it, so you can weigh it yourself rather than take our word for anything.

Novated leasing, and how we are paid for it
A novated lease is a finance product, and LINK does not write them. When you ask for a quote through our novated lease calculator, we pass your details to LeaseLab and they prepare the quote.
We looked at who we would want handling this for our own clients, and chose LeaseLab. Novated leasing is all they do, and they offer a self managed lease as well as a fully managed one, which is not something every provider does.
If your lease settles, LeaseLab pays LINK a commission. If it does not settle we are paid nothing: nothing for the enquiry, nothing if you get the quote and decide against it, nothing if you take a quote somewhere else. It does not change your price, and it does not change the figures our calculator gives you, which run on ATO rules and come out the same whoever wrote the quote.
What that structure means in practice is that we are only paid when you have gone ahead with something you chose. From there the lease is between you and LeaseLab. We are still here though: if something is unclear, or the quote does not look right, tell us and we will help you get to the bottom of it.
What we are not doing
We refer to one provider. We are not surveying the market on your behalf, and we are not telling you LeaseLab will be the cheapest quote you could find anywhere. You are free to get other quotes, and we would rather you did.
That is why the quote checker exists and why it is free to use whether you came through us or not. It shows you the interest rate a quote implies, whether the residual meets the ATO minimum, whether the FBT is covered, and what the whole thing costs including the balloon. Any quote we are involved in has to survive it on the same terms as anyone else's.
Nothing on our calculators is personal advice. We do not know your circumstances, your employer's arrangements or your credit position, and a novated lease is not right for everyone.
Your information
Your details go to LeaseLab only when you tick the box asking us to send them, and we record that you did. The figures you modelled travel with the enquiry so the quote comes back on your real numbers. Everything else about what we collect is in our privacy policy.

Email hello@link.com.au or call 07 3899 8311 and ask for whoever handled your enquiry. If we cannot resolve it, you can take a tax agent matter to the Tax Practitioners Board, a financial advice matter to AFCA, and a privacy matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
