Straight numbers, and what you actually get for them.
Culture budgets die from vagueness, so here are the numbers and the detail behind each one. Three things are free or fixed and public; the rest are indicative bands confirmed in a written quote after a free call. If a cheaper path would serve you better, you hear that too.
Everything we do, and what it costs.

Prices in AUD. Fixed prices include GST; indicative bands are quoted plus GST and confirmed in writing before anything begins.
Three ways in that cost you nothing to find out.
Two are free and one is a single fixed fee. None of them require a program, and all three are designed so you learn something whether or not you go further.
The Culture Checkup
Eight questions, two minutes
Free
Fixed price
Eight questions covering the eight things that decide whether people join, stay and push: retention, attraction, values, feedback, recognition, leadership, energy and whether the promise you make clients matches the experience inside. You answer for how it is, not how it should be, and you get a scored result the moment you finish.
It is the cheapest possible way to find out whether you have a problem worth paying to fix. Plenty of people take it, read the result, act on it themselves and never speak to us, and that is a fine outcome.
What you get
- A scored result across four bands, from thriving to bleeding
- The specific leaks your answers flagged, named
- Three next moves matched to your result
- A personal reply from James, usually within one business day
Best for
Anyone who suspects something is off but cannot yet name it.
What moves the price
Nothing. It is free and it stays free.
Discovery call
15 minutes, phone or video
Free
Fixed price
Fifteen minutes with James to talk through what is happening in your business, what you have already tried, and whether any of this work would actually help. No pitch deck, no pressure, no follow-up sequence.
If the answer is that you do not need a program, you will hear that. If the answer is that your problem sits somewhere else, in pay structures, in the org design, in a partner conversation nobody wants to have, you will hear that too, and where we can point you somewhere better we do.
What you get
- A straight read on whether culture work is your actual problem
- The specific format that would suit, and what it would cost
- An answer on fit, including when the answer is no
Best for
Anyone weighing this up who wants to talk to a human first.
What moves the price
Nothing. Free, and deliberately so.
Breakthrough Session
60 minutes, one to one, no lock-in
$605 incl GST
Fixed price
This is the front door, and it is deliberately a single session rather than a program. You bring the real thing: the senior hire who is not working out, the two managers pulling in opposite directions, the team that has gone quiet, the growth decision you keep deferring. James asks the questions that get underneath it, and you leave with a plan for the week rather than a set of principles.
There is no program requirement and no lock-in. Plenty of people take one session, act on it and get what they needed. Where the session surfaces something bigger, you will know what the bigger piece looks like and what it costs before you decide anything.
It is priced so that one good decision out of the hour pays for it many times over, and if it does not deliver that, you should not pay for it.
Value guaranteed. If you finish the hour with nothing you can use, say so on the call and the fee comes back. That has not happened yet, and keeping that record intact is the incentive to keep the sessions sharp.
What you get
- 60 minutes one to one with James, in person in Brisbane or by video
- A written summary of what you agreed, sent afterwards
- The frameworks used in the session, so you can run them again yourself
- A straight answer on whether anything further is worth doing
Best for
Founders and leaders with one specific situation to move, or anyone wanting a taste before committing to more.
What moves the price
Nothing. That is the price, in or out of a program.
What each program actually involves.
Every band below is confirmed as a fixed written quote after a free discovery call. Nothing starts before you have the number in writing.
Ongoing coaching
Monthly or fortnightly, quarter minimum
$500 to $1,200 per month
Coaching for founders, CEOs and senior leaders who want someone in their corner who has actually run the thing. Sessions are monthly or fortnightly across a quarter or more, and the agenda is yours: what is live this month, what decision is stuck, what conversation you are avoiding.
The recurring themes are the ones that come with the job. Leading the leadership team, and holding standards when you like the person. Keeping the culture intact while the headcount doubles. The founder bottleneck, where everything still routes through you. And the brand-culture bridge, making the promise you sell and the experience you deliver one story.
Between sessions you can reach James on the things that will not wait, because most of the decisions that matter do not schedule themselves around your coaching calendar.
What you get
- Monthly or fortnightly sessions, 60 to 90 minutes each
- Access between sessions for the calls that cannot wait
- Written actions after each session, revisited at the next
- The wider LINK group when the question crosses into accounting, finance or brand
Best for
Leaders carrying the business who want a straight read on a regular rhythm rather than a one-off.
What moves the price
Fortnightly versus monthly cadence, and session length.
Employee engagement survey
Three weeks end to end
$3k to $8k
A survey your team will answer candidly, built on the same ten metrics LINK measures on itself: peers, ambassadorship, manager, alignment, recognition, happiness, feedback, growth, wellness and satisfaction. Designed, run, benchmarked and interpreted, with the action plan delivered inside a fortnight of closing.
The reason most engagement surveys fail is not the instrument, it is what happens next. Run one, change nothing, and the next one gets silence. So every survey here ships with the plan attached: the two or three changes that will move the next result, each with an owner and a date.
Repeat measurement is where the value compounds. The first survey is a snapshot, the second is a story, and the team seeing the loop close is what buys you the truth next time.
What you get
- Question design tuned to your business, not a template
- Anonymous, mobile-friendly delivery, typically 80%+ participation
- Benchmarked results read by James, with signal separated from venting
- A plain-language report you can share with the whole team
- Leader-level breakdowns for the leadership group
- A prioritised action plan with owners and dates
Best for
Teams of 20 and up who want a baseline before changing anything, or proof that a change worked.
What moves the price
Headcount, custom questions and how many leader-level breakdowns you need.
Team building day
Half or full day, 8 to 60 people
$4k to $10k
Not an escape room and not a ropes course. A facilitated day where the material is your team's actual dynamics: how they operate, where the friction sits, the conversations that keep getting deferred, and the rhythm they want to work to.
James facilitates personally, at your office, at a venue we help you choose, or as part of a wider offsite across south-east Queensland. The day ends with an operating rhythm the team designed themselves, which is the part that survives contact with Monday.
Then the follow-through, which is the actual point. Two weeks later James checks in on the commitments made. Thirty days later you get a short pulse read on whether behaviour moved. A day earns its cost when the Tuesday three weeks afterwards feels different.
What you get
- Design session beforehand so the day targets your real friction
- A full or half day facilitated by James
- A written operating rhythm the team built, not one handed to them
- A two-week commitments check-in and a thirty-day pulse read
Best for
Teams of eight to sixty carrying unspoken friction, or merging groups that need one rhythm.
What moves the price
Half versus full day, group size, and how much venue support you want.
Leadership development program
Three months, whole leadership group
$12k to $30k
People do not experience your values, they experience their manager. This is three months of work on the habits that decide what that experience is like: feedback that lands, accountability without fear, recognition as a system, hiring and onboarding that protect the culture, and leading through growth.
Workshops run every two to three weeks with real assignments in between. Run the one-on-one. Have the conversation you have been putting off. Install the ritual. James reviews what actually happened and coaches through what got stuck, which is where the learning is.
You measure before and after: engagement, turnover, time-to-hire and the leadership behaviours the team reports experiencing. The goal is visible movement inside a quarter, not certificates.
What you get
- Five to six workshops across three months, cohort kept small
- Assignments between sessions, run on your actual team
- One-to-one coaching for leaders who need it alongside the group
- Before-and-after measurement so the change is provable
- A leadership operating rhythm that outlasts the program
Best for
Businesses of 20 to 200 putting the whole leadership group through together, which is the only way it holds.
What moves the price
Cohort size, session count, and in person versus remote delivery.
Culture Pack build
Built with your team over working sessions
$5k to $15k
A Culture Pack is your business's culture in a document the team actually uses: how meetings run, how wins get celebrated, how feedback happens, how new people are welcomed, and what the values look like on a normal Tuesday rather than on a wall.
It is the difference between culture living in the founder's head and culture that scales. When it only lives in your head, every new hire dilutes it and every departure takes a piece with them.
Packs are built with your team across working sessions rather than written for them, because a playbook the team wrote is a playbook the team runs.
What you get
- Working sessions with your team to surface what already works
- Written rituals: onboarding, meeting frameworks, recognition practices
- Values translated into observable behaviours, not adjectives
- A living document your leaders own and update
Best for
Businesses about to grow fast, or ones where the culture currently depends entirely on the founder being in the room.
What moves the price
Depth of the playbook and how many workshops go into building it.
Keynote or conference speaking
20 to 60 minutes, tailored
$3k to $8k
James speaks on culture the way he built it: as the engine behind growth, trust and retention rather than the nice-to-have that gets cut when things tighten. Topics are tailored to your audience from a set of cores, including building cultural habits, leadership that shapes culture, retention through purpose, and the brand-culture bridge.
Every session ends the same way, with specific commitments the room made, written down. A talk that changes nothing was entertainment, and the room can tell the difference.
What you get
- A pre-event conversation about your audience and what you want shifted
- A tailored keynote of 20 to 60 minutes
- Frameworks the audience can apply the next morning
- Q&A, and a takeaway summary for attendees
Best for
Conferences, leadership events and company all-hands wanting substance over energy.
What moves the price
Length, audience size and travel.
Strategic offsite
One or two facilitated days
$6k to $15k
The flagship format. One or two days with your leadership team where strategy and culture are held in the same conversation, because separating them is how good plans die on contact with the team that has to run them.
Culture and team dynamics in the morning, strategic planning in the afternoon, one facilitator across both. You leave with decisions made rather than options listed, owners assigned, and an operating rhythm to carry them into the quarter.
James checks in on those commitments afterwards, which is the difference between an offsite and a holiday with whiteboards.
What you get
- Pre-work with you on the agenda and the decisions that must land
- One or two facilitated days, culture and strategy in one thread
- Decisions documented with owners and dates before anyone leaves
- A follow-through check-in after the offsite
Best for
Leadership groups heading into a new year, a merger, or a step change in size.
What moves the price
Number of days, depth of preparation, and the follow-through rhythm you want.
Paying for culture work, without the leap of faith.
Every engagement starts with a written fixed quote, so the number is agreed before any work begins and does not move without a scope change you signed off.
Larger programs are staged, so you never fund the whole journey up front and can stop between stages if it is not working. That is a commitment we would rather make than defend.
And there is one test running underneath all of it: the work should visibly move retention, energy or performance inside a quarter. Culture work that cannot point at what changed was theatre, and we do not sell theatre.
Asked before every quote.
Why publish prices when consultants usually hide them?
Because vagueness wastes your time and ours. Ranges up front mean the discovery call is about fit and outcomes rather than fee-fencing, and the fixed quote in writing means the number never surprises you.
Is the Breakthrough Session refundable if it does not help?
Yes. If you finish the hour with nothing you can use, say so on the call and the fee is returned. That has not happened yet, and keeping that record intact is the incentive to keep the sessions sharp.
Can smaller businesses afford this?
The Culture Checkup is free, the discovery call is free and the Breakthrough Session is $605. Most culture problems in a ten-person team are solved with a session, a Culture Pack and a founder who follows through. Thousands, not tens of thousands.
Are these prices final quotes?
The discovery call and Breakthrough Session are fixed. Everything else is an indicative range until your written quote, which comes after the discovery call and does not move without an agreed scope change.
How do payments work on the larger programs?
Staged, so you never fund the whole journey up front. Programs are typically split across the term, and you can stop between stages if it is not working, which is a commitment we would rather make than defend.
What if we need something that is not on this list?
Most engagements mix pieces from it: a survey to set the baseline, a program to move it, a Culture Pack to hold it. The discovery call is where that gets shaped, and the quote follows the shape rather than the menu.
Not sure which one you need? That is what the free call is for.
Fifteen minutes, no obligation, and a straight answer on what would actually help, including when the answer is nothing.
The Culture Checkup and everything on this site is general information, not professional advice on any specific workplace situation. Results reflect the answers you give and are a starting point for a conversation, not a diagnosis. Outcomes from any program depend on your team and no outcome is guaranteed.
