Confidentiality is the foundation of what this site does, so this policy is written to be read.

The policy that covers us.

LINK Culture is one of the divisions of LINK, and operates under The Link Collective Pty Ltd (ABN 63 620 787 742). How we collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information is governed by the LINK Privacy Policy, written to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. It names The Link Collective among the entities responsible under that Act, and covers what we collect, why, who we disclose it to, where it is stored including overseas, how long we keep it, and how to access or correct it.

Read it at link.com.au/privacy. It is maintained in one place for the whole group, so it is always the current version. The Link Collective also runs the privacy function for every division, so the people you contact about privacy and the company holding your information are the same one.

What the culture checkup sends us.

This is worth being precise about. The checkup asks for your email and business name before the first question, and from that point each answer is sent to us as you go and is attached to that email. Your answers are not anonymous, and they are not held back until the end.

That includes assessments nobody finishes. If you start and stop halfway, we still hold the answers you gave. We do it so we can pick up a conversation where you left it rather than making you start again — but you should know it, and if you would rather we did not keep it, ask and we will delete it.

We also record how you found the site, through referrer and campaign parameters, and your ABN if the business lookup matched one.

How we use it.

Your information is used for one purpose: contacting you about your enquiry and helping you with it. Enquiries are stored securely, shared within the LINK Culture team, and passed to trusted professionals such as specialist facilitators or advisers only with your knowledge as part of helping you. We never sell your information and we never use a culture enquiry for unrelated marketing.

What else runs on this site.

We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how pages perform. It is cookieless, it does not follow you to other websites, and your assessment answers are never sent to it. There is no tag manager, no Google Analytics and no advertising pixel here.

When you type a business name into the checkup, we look it up against the Australian Business Register through our own server so we can match the right entity. That is a business lookup, not a lookup about you.

Access, correction and questions.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing culture@link.com.au, or by contacting the LINK Privacy Officer at privacy@link.com.au, PO Box 569, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006. If you are not satisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
