Salary guide · Australia · 2026

What your role pays, and what moves the number.

Salary figures are easy to find and mostly useless on their own. These come with the part that actually matters: what separates the bottom of a band from the top, from a group that employs these roles itself and recruits them every week.

Check your role in one click.

Fifteen roles across accounting, IT and marketing. Pick yours to see what it typically pays right now - then, if you want the read for your actual experience rather than an average, tell Ayu.

On these numbers. Indicative only, and moving. Figures as at August 2026, excluding super - mostly typical advertised salaries, Brisbane where the data supports it and national otherwise, with the rows marked from our payroll taken from what LINK itself pays. The market is shifting and rates are moving constantly, so treat these as a starting point rather than a benchmark: you'll get Ayu's current read on your specific role, from searches running this month, in the first conversation.

Your questions, straight answers.

How accurate is this salary guide?

The figures are typical advertised salaries as at August 2026, excluding super - Brisbane where the data supports it, national otherwise. They are a starting point rather than a benchmark: the market is shifting and rates are moving constantly, which is why every page ends with an offer to get a current read on your specific role rather than a published average.

Do these salaries include superannuation?

No. Every figure here is the base salary excluding super. Some advertised salaries elsewhere quote a package including super, which is one of the most common reasons two 'salary guides' disagree by roughly 12%.

Why do salary guides disagree with each other so much?

Three reasons, usually. Some include super and some do not. Some report advertised salaries and some report placed salaries, which differ because negotiation happens in between. And most publish annually, so a guide can be eleven months stale in a market that moves quarterly.

Can you tell me what I'm worth without applying for anything?

Yes, and plenty of people use it that way. Send Ayu your role and experience and you will get an honest read on what the market is currently paying, whether or not you ever apply for a role through us. There is no obligation and you will not be added to a mailing list.

Want the read for your experience?

Send Ayu your CV and what you're after. You'll get an honest read on what the market is currently paying someone with your background - whether or not you ever apply for a role through us.
